I’m hesitant to recommend a pop-up book to toddlers, but it’s pretty sturdy as pop-ups go, and my Two loved this book. The children's book "Eat Your Peas," written by Kes Gray, is narrated by characters from the Red Apple Reading program. There are many activities you can do with the book in addition to reading it aloud: counting the numbers, counting the peas on each page, acting out what the peas are doing (jumping, laughing, etc), identifying letters in the words for each number, and searching for the "hidden" lady bug on each page.
